Simon West Fine Jewellery was recommended to us by friends, and we weren't disappointed! From my initial phone enquiry, to the first appointment with Kelly to discuss options and establish ring sizing, the entire process was professional, friendly and very helpful. I appreciated being able to ask a lot of questions in order to understand the best approach. I’m delighted with my rings and plan to return to have another ring made in future using some heirloom pieces.

We’d talked for a long time about combining my rings into one, but it was always hard to imagine how it might look. Simon made the entire process not only easy to visualise, but genuinely enjoyable. He met with us to understand what we loved, looked at the stones we already had, and explored how they could come together in a single design. The very first sketch was incredible. Along the way, we saw a beautiful side‑etching detail on another ring Simon had made, and Simon seamlessly incorporated it into our piece. Once the final sketches and sizing were complete, we felt completely confident moving ahead. Simon stayed in touch throughout the making process, and on reveal day we were absolutely blown away. The detail, the craftsmanship, the way the ring feels so personal — it exceeded every expectation. Jewellery evolves with you over time. I’d been wearing three separate rings, all bought at different moments, and they never quite sat right together. Now we have one stunning piece that brings all those years and memories into a single design, and it looks amazing. We first met Simon in 2003 and have been long‑time admirers of his work. This experience just reaffirmed why. Thank you, Simon and team — we couldn’t be happier.

My fiancé and I had the most amazing experience with Simon West from start to finish. I had wanted to be involved in the design process for my engagement ring having little idea what I would actually like and after sourcing a sapphire we went to a number of different jewellers before deciding to have Simon make the ring. The level of expertise and service were second to none. We were particularly impressed that all of the rings were completely handmade, rather than being finished from a CAD mould which every other jeweller we met with that were handmade were doing. This distinction again just highlighting the extra love and care that Simon puts into his pieces and we knew that this was where we wanted to have our wedding rings made. That extra durability in the design means that our stunning rings can hopefully become family heirlooms. Wouldn't go anywhere else now and can't wait to see what other heirlooms we create with Simon over the next decades!

As someone who knows little to nothing about diamonds and rings, I couldn’t be happier with Simon West. I was surprised when I actually got to meet Simon himself - like, it’s not just a brand like Michael Hill. Simon exists and he walked me through the entire process, taking into account my budget, my ideas. It felt very relaxed, and if there were any changes or questions, the team was very happy to accomodate. And then I got the rings and I couldn’t be happier. My partner hasn’t stopped smiling since I proposed today.

Had an incredible experience from start to finish at Simon West! My partner and I went across all of Melbourne looking for a jeweller who understood the vision we were going for. When we first came into Simon West, we saw a beautiful hand made ring that was so close to what we wanted and knew then and there that Simon West would be the perfect choice. Simon and the team were super patient with us and went above and beyond to find the perfect coloured green sapphire for the ring. Collaborating with Simon on the design was also a great experience - he really helped guide the vision and was always super excited to show us possible options. We had a fantastic experience with Simon. My wife's had a few pieces made by Simon in the past - so when it came to having her engagement ring made, it was a no brainer to visit him. He spent hours with me and sister in law coming up with the perfect design. We went through multiple iterations, and weeks of searching to find the exact sapphire we were after. We later visited him again to have our wedding bands and some earrings made. He had many unique and classic mens designs and spent hours coming up with creative ideas and solutions. The final result exceeded all expectations and we were thrilled with the final results.
